Cyber Trust Platinum Label
Fabasoft has successfully met the requirements for the Cyber Trust Gold Label for many years and achieved certification for the Cyber Trust Austria® Platinum Label for the first time in December 2025.
The Cyber Trust Platinum Label, an Austrian certificate of quality for cyber security, is based on the requirements of EU Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2690 and is aimed in particular at ‘important institutions’ in accordance with NIS 2 and at companies with particularly high security requirements. The certification includes the evaluation of 50 structured questions as part of a validated self-declaration with a technical plausibility check and selective evidence review by renowned experts.
The Cyber Trust Platinum Label is valid for one year, after which recertification is required. It serves as proof of security measures within the meaning of Art. 21 NIS 2.
As part of the validated self-declaration, organizational and technical security measures, risk management and incident response structures, the protection of sensitive data and digital infrastructures, and measures to fulfil NIS2 obligations were assessed, among other criteria.
The independent, technical plausibility and evidence check ensures that all information is fact-based and verifiable. This includes an assessment and evaluation of the information, including any recommendations for action on all requirements of the implementing regulation.
