Tax Manager:in (f/m/d)
Finance · Linz · Full time
We are committed to transparency and equal treatment, therefore we particularly welcome applications from all age groups, regardless of gender, disabilities, origin, social and ethnic background, religion, ideology or sexual identity.
You think in terms of transfer pricing, have a strong understanding of national and international tax law, and want to actively shape the future of a growing, publicly listed software company rather than simply manage existing processes? Then this position could be your next career step.
You will join our tax team and, together with your colleague, serve as a key point of contact for all tax-related matters across the Group.
Your mission:
- You independently handle questions and issues relating to national and international tax law (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, double taxation agreements) and coordinate tax matters for our Group companies in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the USA.
- You prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation in accordance with national and international transfer pricing regulations (Local File, Master File) and analyze intra-group transactions for compliance with the arm’s-length principle.
- You contribute to group taxation and strategic tax planning and support tax audits as a subject-matter contact for tax advisors, tax offices, and authorities.
- You support the accounting of deferred taxes and the preparation of documentation relevant to financial statements and audits as part of quarterly and annual financial reporting under IFRS and local statutory accounting standards.
- You contribute to tax compliance activities, particularly withholding taxes and reporting obligations, and support the further development of the internal tax control system.
- You prepare tax-related topics, create training materials, and conduct internal training sessions.
Your profile:
- You have completed a degree in law or economics with a focus on tax law. A specialization in international tax law (e.g., an LL.M.) or ongoing or completed tax advisor training is a plus.
- You have several years of relevant professional experience in tax consulting and/or in an international corporate environment.
- You have sound knowledge of national tax law (particularly corporate income tax and Austrian group taxation) as well as transfer pricing – ideally, you have already prepared transfer pricing documentation independently.
- Your independent way of working, teamwork, and communication skills enable you to quickly adapt to new structures while thinking beyond your immediate responsibilities.
- Very good German language skills (C2) and good English language skills round off your profile.
We really care for experts – and we show it with:
- first-class catering (breakfast, coffee, drinks, fruit and much more) and fantastic team events
- an inspiring work environment with state-of-the-art office standards
- a stress-free, sustainable commute (generous support for climate tickets and other annual network cards, free e-shuttle from the train station to HQ and back)
- a monthly home office quota and flexible working hours
- an above-average salary (approx. EUR 5,000 gross per month based on a 38.5-hour working week, depending on your experience and qualifications)
- … to be continued
