Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d)
Data Center & IT Services · Graz · Full time
We are committed to transparency and equal treatment, therefore we particularly welcome applications from all age groups, regardless of gender, disabilities, origin, social and ethnic background, religion, ideology or sexual identity.
You enjoy working as part of a team, think in a solution-oriented way, and keep an overview even in complex infrastructures. To you, operations means understanding, improving, and taking responsibility – whether on-premises or cloud-native. If you enjoy working with new technologies and want to actively shape systems rather than simply operate them, you’ll fit right in with us.
We are looking for additional support for our IT operations team!
Your mission:
- You ensure that our systems run reliably – and that they perform even better tomorrow.
- You support the transformation of existing infrastructures into modern cloud-native platforms, applying your technical expertise and experience in a targeted manner.
- You are the technical point of contact for monitoring and managing the system environments of Fabasoft installations, operating systems, and databases.
- You analyze unusual behavior in the operation of our software products in close collaboration with your colleagues and respond proactively and promptly when necessary.
- You keep an eye on the availability and performance of our software products, think proactively, and initiate appropriate optimization measures.
Your profile:
- You have completed an IT education (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university) and have relevant professional experience in IT operations or a DevOps environment.
- Your toolbox includes sound Linux knowledge, experience with container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher), databases such as PostgreSQL, as well as expertise in clustering, load balancing, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
- You have a solution-oriented and independent approach to work, combined with a strong commitment to quality and a clear focus on customer needs.
- You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and working with new technologies – you are keen to contribute and enthusiastic about continuously expanding your knowledge.
- You have a strong technical understanding and communicate clearly – you are also confident using technical terminology in German and can explain complex topics in an understandable way.
We really care for experts – and we show it with:
- first-class catering (breakfast, coffee, drinks, fruit and much more) and fantastic team events
- an inspiring work environment with state-of-the-art office standards
- a stress-free commute (generous support for the KlimaTicket and other annual public transport passes)
- a monthly home office quota and flexible working hours
- an above-average salary (approx. EUR 4,500 gross per month based on a 38.5-hour working week, depending on your experience and qualifications)
- … to be continued
